I was on the wellness package and I found it to be well worth the cost and I made sure to make the most of it. I found all that and more at Battle Conquer. I needed a break and reset from city life, a kickstart to getting back in shape, to improve on my minimal martial arts experience, and to clear my head. I'm very happy and recommend this camp to anyone who wants to take a break and focus on themselves a bit, whilst getting healthy and peace of mind. I was smiling more, mixing and mingling more and by the end of 4 weeks (which went really fast) I really had achieved what I wanted to achieve from this experience. And physically much fitter than when I began. The thai massages helped in the beginning to take care of the sore muscles! Mentally I was feeling relaxed. By the end of the 3rd week working out 5 hrs a day became a pleasure and I was looking forward to the next morning. What was great was that my general strength improved quite drastically. But since I put on muscle it was expected. Result: I lost a couple of kgs, not as much as I'd like to. There was a lot of support and enthusiasm and encouragement from the participants which made the whole experience that much that more relaxing and enjoyable. Making friends was effortless even for someone as reserved as myself who would normally sit alone and not speak unless spoken to!. They were all from different nationalities and there for different reasons. I would go back to the guesthouse after dinner and spend the rest of the evening reading or just relaxing (or doing some work) and often fall asleep early! General atmosphere: loved the mix of people in the camp.

The guesthouse was quiet and a bit away from the camp and it suited me well. The accommodation was basic with all the nessacilites - nothing to write home about though. I stayed at the guesthouse which was a 15 minute walk from the camp. Accommodation: you've got options of camp or hotel or the guesthouse.

I would take a ride to city mid day and have a smoothie at the Scure Cafe which was always a treat. Usually you would not need more food for the day but if you did there was always banana or some other fruit at the canteen. Breakfast and dinner were included and you could eat as much as you wanted. Food: we were served a "westernized" version of Thai food- which basically means its wasnt as spicy as the usual Thai food but still delicious. I also took one-on-one sessions with trainers which tend to be more focused and helped me with getting the technique and speed training that I really wanted. Each trainer has his own style but they are all good and fun to work with.
CONQUER FITNESS PRO
Even if you are a beginner, or a pro these sessions are good because you can adjust it to your level with the trainers. The first few days they separated the new participants and trained them separately on technique which really helps.
CONQUER FITNESS FREE
Some shadow boxing, 3 rounds with a trainer 3 rounds free style, core strengthing exercises and stretching at the beginning and end of each session. Each was a well planned session with a 30 min warm up. Training: training classes were twice a day and 2hrs each - there was an alternative activity if you wanted to skip a session like crossfit or a hike - but I took the sessions. I signed up for the Muaythai package for 4 weeks. I wanted to get away for a while, gain some skills in boxing and generally get fitter. An excellent camp in the middle of nowhere in Thailand! This camp was exactly what I needed.
